Azinta Systems partners with Cenzic to power its Test-On-Demand Application Vulnerability Testing Service

Partnership that helps companies to implement application vulnerability testing as part of their software QA process

LONDON – October 14, 2008  – Azinta Systems has announced a strategic partnership with Cenzic to licence its Hailstorm ARC technology to power Azinta Test-On-Demand web application vulnerability testing managed services.

The Azinta Test-on-Demand web application vulnerability testing managed service is targeted at software QA who want to apply the same quality processess they use for functional testing to web application vulnerability testing, at all stages of the software development life cycle.

Traditionally, software QA has outsourced application vulnerability testing to internal or external security consultants. Often these consultants have to be booked weeks in advance and often cannot respond to test an urgent application software fix within a 24 hours. The Azinta Test-on-Demand vulnerability managed service solution is designed to solve this problem at a very cost effective price" said Suleiman Shehu, CEO of Azinta Systems. "We are not intending to compete with the vulnerability auditing services provided by IT security consultants.  However the Azinta Test-on-Demand managed service will ensure that web application software upgrades and fixes will not be released into production without undergoing an effective vulnerability testing process, and, without relying on scarce IT security consulting resources."

"The Azinta Test-on-Demand service also uses VMware virtualisation technology to replicate the production environment used by each application (including all servers, networks and switches). The Test-on-Demand Service uses an ARC dashboard that allows a tester to book an application  vulnerability test on-demand (24 x 7 x 365). The virtual production environment, for the application that is to be tested, is then automatically loaded on to test servers and the application tested for security vulnerabilities (using one or more pre-defined vulnerability test templates). The vulnerability test results are displayed on the ARC dashboard, on test completion, together with recommendations to fix detected security vulnerabilities."
